This approach is especially beneficial during postpartum recovery, perimenopause, or anytime you’re navigating changes in pelvic or core function.

Whether your child is learning to walk, playing sports, or experiencing tension, care is tailored to their needs in a calm, kid-friendly environment.
Shockwave Therapy
Relieve Pain. Speed Healing.
-
Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses acoustic (sound) waves to break down muscle tension, scar tissue, and adhesions — helping reduce inflammation and trigger your body’s natural healing response. It enhances circulation, supports tissue repair, and promotes faster recovery.
It’s especially helpful for chronic tension, tendinopathies, trigger points, plantar fasciitis, and injuries that haven’t fully responded to other treatments.
Dr. Watson often integrates shockwave into chiropractic care to restore mobility, improve range of motion, and speed healing when other treatments haven’t provided lasting relief.
-
Shockwave therapy is used to treat a wide range of soft tissue and overuse injuries, including:
Plantar fasciitis
Tennis or golfer’s elbow
Shoulder tendon pain
Hip or gluteal pain
IT band syndrome
Runner’s knee
Achilles tendon issues
Shin splints
Chronic muscle tightness
Scar tissue or adhesions
It’s also helpful for supporting recovery from training or overuse and enhancing mobility and performance in active individuals.
-
Shockwave therapy sessions are typically around 15 minutes and target specific areas of pain or tension. A conductive gel is applied directly to the skin, and a handheld device delivers acoustic pulses into the tissue. You’ll feel a tapping or pulsing sensation — it may be mildly uncomfortable at times, but most people find it very tolerable. Many patients notice a reduction in pain and improved mobility during the session. Most conditions respond well within 3–8 treatments as healing progresses and function improves.
Dynamic Cupping & Laser
Release Tension. Increase Circulation.
-
Gentle suction meets advanced technology in this combination treatment designed to ease muscle tension, improve circulation, and support recovery. Dr. Watson uses Achedaway cups, which offer adjustable suction, rhythmic pulsing, and integrated red light therapy — allowing for a more comfortable and targeted experience than traditional cupping. This therapy helps release fascial restrictions, reduce postural strain, and restore range of motion, while the red and infrared light promotes cellular repair and reduces inflammation.
-
Dynamic cupping uses gentle suction to lift the skin and underlying tissues, helping release tension and increase local blood flow. The Achedaway cupping system also delivers red and infrared light into the area, which penetrates deep into the tissues to reduce inflammation and support healing
-
Each session is about 20 minutes and begins with Achedaway cups placed directly on the skin over areas of tension or stiffness. You'll feel a gentle suction or pulsing sensation, often paired with soothing warmth from the red and infrared light therapy. The treatment is customized to your comfort and may feel relaxing, energizing, or both. Mild redness or bruising can occur afterward and usually fades within a few days.
Not sure where to start?
Many patients come in unsure of what treatment is right for them — and that’s okay. During your first visit, Dr. Watson will assess your needs and recommend the best combination of care options to help you feel and move better.
Supportive Tools & Techniques
These supportive tools may be used during your session at no extra cost, based on what your body needs that day.
Custom orthotics are a separate service and are subject to an additional fee.
-
This technique uses smooth stainless-steel tools to gently glide over the skin and identify areas of tightness, trigger points, or fascial restrictions. It helps break down scar tissue and adhesions, improve tissue mobility, and stimulate circulation and healing. IASTM is especially helpful for addressing persistent muscle tension, overuse injuries, and mobility restrictions — and can be a great complement to chiropractic adjustments and rehab.
-
Kinesiology tape can be used to reduce discomfort, support muscles and joints, and improve body awareness and posture. Dr. Watson uses Rock Tape to provide targeted support for injuries or movement imbalances — including pregnancy taping to help support the belly, reduce strain on the lower back, and improve comfort during daily activities. It’s a gentle, non-invasive way to enhance stability without restricting motion.
-
Percussion therapy uses a handheld device to deliver rapid pulses into muscle tissue, helping to release deep tension, improve circulation, and accelerate recovery. This technique is especially useful after workouts, during injury rehab, or when you feel stiff and sore. Dr. Watson often incorporates this into sessions to reduce muscle guarding and support better movement outcomes.
